As early as age five, Amy Edwards remembers being surrounded by the beauty industry. The daughter of renowned celebrity hair stylist Allen Edwards, Amy recalls always working on, thinking about, or creating new designs for hair.Working under the watchful eye of her father, Amy quickly realized her passion for the industry. Amy knew, however, that in order to become the best in one of the most competitive industries she would need to travel and expand her knowledge. Amy traveled and worked throughout the country in various top salons and as a platform stylist for Wella. Throughout her experience, Amy learned the importance of giving her clients healthy, current hair and suitable designs to fit their lifestyles.Today, Amy prides herself as an innovator in hair. From blending her own colors from pure tones, to balayage hair painting, she is always searching for the newest and greatest techniques. Due to Amys sensitivities of chemicals she uses a NON-TOXIC hair color line, as well as VEGAN styling products, shampoos, and conditioners. The line is perfect for anyone with autoimmune challenges, sensitivities to permanent hair dyes, and pregnancies!Subsequently, she has recently joined a progressive hair team. Considered the iPhone of hair technology, they combine holistic ingredients that previously were never thought possible by using advanced ingredient technology. They have also introduced the idea of applying color to clean hair. The known technique of applying color to dry, damaged hair with buildup, causes quick color fade. Their new product allows hair designers to prepare hair for maximum color input, vibrancy and shine, supplying the richest tones possible. Amy has also found The Method, by Alan Benfield Bush, that all hair designers use, but is not commonly known, and forges ahead in delivering The Method for educational seminars and programs.From educator to top salon stylist, Amy has done it all. Because of her vast experience, she can give clients the makeover they have always wanted.

Lisa Menne
Lisa Menne has over 25 years of experience in the hair industry, and she has done it all. Lisa had her start professionally trained by Sebastian International, and from there became an educator herself. As she has trained professionals and assistants, Lisa has a strong understanding of blow dries, colors, and cutting. Lisa has become well known for her quick and efficient work style. Teamed with her assistant, Larry, Lisas clients are used to coming in and getting out in a short period of time. Due to this she has developed a loyal clientele with several weekly and bi-weekly blow dry clients. Lisas clients only have wonderful things to say about her beyond saying shes talented they describe her as funny, a fabulous storyteller, and a good soul. As a health conscious individual she enjoys helps her clients with diet tips, recipes and party planning. For as long as anyone who knows June Leslie Canter can remember, her love for fashion and design was apparent in everything she did. Even as a young teen, June's creative eye and attention to detail became well known throughout her school, friends, and family. Whether it was arranging flowers for a party, picking out an outfit, or doing her friend's hair and makeup, June has always had a knack for making everything and everyone look amazing. June received her formal education in the dental and medical industries, giving her the organizational and business skills she needed as a detail-oriented person. June never stopped pursuing her passion for design and fashion. It was her mother who was most instrumental in motivating her to fulfill her dream in a career in the beauty and fashion industry. Her mother knew this would be a perfect place for her to explore all her creative talents. After receiving her license and training with some of the industry's greats, it didn't take june long to find her niche as a makeup artist in the Beverly Hills Allen Edwards Salon. This is where she really began to excel. Women would line up to have their look designed by June Leslie. Through her creative eye, love and knowledge of fashion, and technical expertise, June would address each client as an individual, considering all aspects of their facial bone structure, eye color, eyebrow shape, skin tone, and texture, and lifestyle. After moving to the Allen Edwards Salon Encino, June's love for color and desire to provide her clients with the best products available lead her to create the June Leslie Cosmetic Center, featuring her own line of cosmetics. Each visit will remind you that the right makeup artist and cosmetics does make a difference.

COSMETICS & MAKE-UP STUDIO
I developed the June Leslie Cosmetic line for every skin type and age. I looked in magazines, went to many department stores, and scoured all of the makeup counters. I created a line that will satisfy all of your needs.My makeup is non-fragranced, hypoallergenic, and not tested on animals. The eye shadows come in single, triple, and quad palettes. Colors range from soft to dramatic for a smoky look. To complete your look I also carry mascara, eye pencils and under eye concealers.I have lipsticks ranging from mattes to light sheens. My lip-glosses are endless, from lip plumper glosses to luxury glosses. I have light ones that shine with colors that range from nude to soft pinks, and earth tones. For your face I have oil free powders, blushes, bronzers, and new baked finishing powders. I sell all of the tools necessary to get the desired application for eyes and face. I also mix custom blend foundations. My skin care line includes, eye creams, moisturizers, sunscreens, toners, and a fresh facial bath. I consider these the most important products that are necessary for your skin. I hope you will come try my line, if you would like I would be happy to give you a one-on-one tour!

Take exit 21 for Balboa Blvd toward Encino

Turn right onto Balboa Blvd

Turn left onto Ventura Blvd

Destination will be on the left

Directions taking the 101 North:

Take exit 18 for Sepulveda Blvd

Turn left onto Sepulveda Blvd

Take the 2nd right onto Ventura Blvd

Destination will be on the right

Parking:

There is a parking structure available. Valet parking Monday-Friday and self parking on weekends.

Validation is $2 for the first two hours, and $1 per twenty minutes after that.

There is also a flat day rate of $5 available for our clients.

Limited street parking is available.
